Concrete maintenance
As good as new and intact concrete and/or steel concrete according to DIN 1045 surrounds the reinforcement with a passivation layer. This protects the reinforcement from corrosion. The breakdown of passivation layer takes place as a rule due to carbonation, chloride and chemical effects with the result that the reinforcement is corroded and the concrete is burnt off. Action needed now!
