Dry ice
Untreated subsoil is treated with the help of traditional blasting processes only under increased expenditure; therefore, we have used CO2 - blasting procedure for the removal of elastic subsoil protection instead of pressurized air blasting.
The big advantage: no greater protective measures, no dust accumulation and removal of debris of blasting. To cover only earthing and ventilation and protective measures with canopy tops. Where can this new type of cleaning procedure be used?
It can be used wherever lengthy, expensive outage durations of plants, machines or workplaces are caused due to traditional cleaning methods. The outage durations can be considerably shortened with this new type of dry ice cleaning.
The post-treatment of cleaned surfaces is often expensive. This is not required now due to abrasion-free dry ice cleaning.
Likewise, the removal and disposal of blasting material is completely avoided since the dry ice pellets are dissolved again in gas.
Dismounting of big tool moulds or plants is not required in most cases. Dry ice cleaning can be undertaken in tool moulds or in plants without dismounting.
